ALEXANDRIA, VA - Alderson-Broaddus Baseball has signed David Lehner II (Mount Vernon High School, Alexandria, VA) to a National Letter of Intent for the 2013 baseball season.  Lehner (6’0, 175) pitched for Coach Marshal Larkey and the Mount Vernon Majors.  On the mound, Lehner finished the season with 11 appearances, 5 complete games, 4.31 ERA, 1 no-hitter with a culmination of 66 strikeouts and earned 2d team All-district.  Lehner also plays for the American Legion, Post 24 (Alexandria, VA), coached by Jim Glassman.

Lehner will join the Battlers in the fall of 2012.  Alderson-Broaddus College is a NCAA Division II affiliated school participating in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and is located in Philippi, WV.
