"Mount Vernon in the Civil War" Walking Tour 

  • WHAT: A new one-hour walking tour featuring historic locations and Civil War stories
  • WHEN: Saturdays and Sundays until October 30, 9:30am and 3:30pm
  • WHERE:  Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens, 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309
  • HOW MUCH:  $5 in addition to the Estate's admission price

Good Shepherd Church Mothers' Group Rummage Sale

  • WHAT: Come to shop or to sell your own items by renting a table
  • WHEN: Saturday, April 2, 10am to 1pm
  • WHERE:  Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mount Vernon Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309
  • HOW MUCH: Free to shop; $20 table rental

 Cocker Spaniel Dog Adoption Show

  • WHAT: Meet cocker spaniels hoping for a new home and available for adoption
  • WHEN: Saturday, April 2, 11am to 2pm

     Mt. Vernon's Helping Hands Charity Tennis Event

    • WHAT: A fundraiser for the Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children Pediatric Oncology Program

     'April in Paris' UCM Spring Gala
