Historic Huntley Seeks Docents and Program Assistants

Docents will be trained in leadership and tour guidance.

 

Historic Huntley is hosting a meeting for anyone interested in volunteering as a docent or historic program assistant.

Historic Huntley is seeking docents to be trained in program leadership and tour guidance. Volunteers will lead tours and assist with interpretive programs for all age groups at the federal period villa built for Thomson Francis Mason in 1825. Historic Huntley was renovated and reopened to the public in 2012.

The meeting will take place in the visitor center auditorium at Huntley Meadows Park on Sunday, February 10, 2013, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
