Congratulations Jeffrey, you are correct! The original Mount
Vernon Memorial Highway portion of the Parkway from Arlington Memorial
Bridge to Mount Vernon was completed and opened in 1932 as part of the
celebration of the 200th anniversary of George Washington's birth.
