After suffering a crushing blow at last week's home opener against West Potomac, the Majors hope to get back on track at tonight's game against Marshall High School.
"[Friday] night’s game will be a challenge as are all games," Majors head coach Barry Wells said. "It's an opportunity to get back on track and get back to playing like we were in the preseason. Marshall has a tough bunch of players."
Three of the Majors' starters will not be playing in tonight's game. One starter, Michael Butts, sustained a season-ending concussion at last week's season opener against West Potomac High School. Wells will put in three replacements, but hopes they will step up to the plate in the starters' absence.
The Majors will face Marshall High School tonight at 7 p.m. at Jeff Todd Field at Melvin B. Landes Stadium.
