Mount Vernon Town Hall Meeting Scheduled for Feb. 2

The annual town hall meeting will take place at Mount Vernon High School

 

The 26th Annual Mount Vernon Town Hall Meeting is scheduled for Feb. 2 at Mount Vernon High School.

The town hall meeting is hosted by Mount Vernon District Supervisor Gerry Hyland. This free event connects Mount Vernon citizens with their local government and gives them the opportunity to discuss local issues in a public forum.

The exhibit area opens at 7:45 a.m. Guests will be able to visit with local organizations and get the latest news about their community efforts. The meeting portion of the town hall will begin at 9:15 a.m.

I certainly hope it will be something different from that doofy "bus tour" this year! Need some new ideas, Mr. Supervisor.

Please address what we can do about the increased harrassment from the Homeless people that seem to becoming more aggressive along the RTE 1 corridor, we have been accosted several times during the past several weeks, even inside some establishments..!! .Thanks
