The Mount Vernon Athletic Club celebrated 40 years in business Friday night with an anniversary celebration.
The event took place at the club, located at 7950 Audubon Ave. The club offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, certified personal trainers, five indoor tennis courts, and a racquetball court. It also features a wellness spa.

congratulations, but please stop putting up your signs along Rte. 1 -- it's not respectful of our community. Despite calls to the club for the manager to stop -- he continues having them posted -- even though they're also illegal.
