Cherry blossoms hit peak bloom this week.
The National Park Service revised its prediction for peak bloom, saying the cherry blossoms will hit their peak between March 20-23. The cherry blossoms will hit their peak just in time for the National Cherry Blossom Festival, which starts Tuesday.
If you don't have time to travel to D.C. to see the blooms at the Tidal Basin, there are plenty of cherry blossom trees hitting their peak along the Route 1 corridor this week. When you're out and about, be sure to take some photos and send them to Patch.

We are planning to see the cherry blosssoms in Washington, D.C. on March 31 at the kite festival. Great event for families. Incredibly visual and picturesque.
