PHOTOS: Spring Farm Dinner Benefits Arcadia

To celebrate Mother's Day, the Neighborhood Restaurant Group hosted a farm dinner to benefit the Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food and Agriculture.

In the middle of a vegetable garden on the grounds of , 's Executive Chef Tony Chittum prepared a fresh spring dinner for guests as a benefit for Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food and Agriculture.

Arcadia is a founded by Neighborhood Restaurant Group owner Michael Babin in 2010. The organization's goal is to create a sustainable food system throughout the D.C. area through education and by creating logistical connections amongst local farmers and the urban and suburban communities.

The Mother's Day four-course dinner was made on the grounds of the historic Woodlawn Plantation, where Arcadia houses an educational farm. The farm is designed to provide opportunites for those in the D.C. area to learn about sustainable farming practices.
