Police: Alexandria Man Charged with Consentual Sex with Minor

The following information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

The following items are from recent police updates through Oct. 5 from the Mount Vernon Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Contributing to Delinquency of Minor (marked in blue on above map), 8400 block of Madge Lane, Sept. 28, 10:15 p.m. The mother of a 15-year-old girl reported her daughter was possibly having sex with an 18-year-old. Following an investigation Olman Centeno Sanchez, 18, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with consentual sex with a child and possession of alcohol.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

Peeping (marked in yellow on above map), 5300 block of Bedford Terrace, Sept. 28, 12:30 p.m. The victim reported someone was looking into her bedroom this morning. The suspect fled.

Shoplifting/Assault on Officer (marked in red on above map), 6300 block of Richmond Highway, Sept. 29, 3 p.m. Officer responded for a suspected shoplifter who allegedly ran from employees and a Washington Metro Transit Police Officer after pushing that officer. Adam Wilkinson, 27, of Alexandria, was found a short time later and charged with assault on a police officer, petit larceny 3rd offense and escape without force.

Unlawful Entry (marked in purple on above map), 7100 block of Mint Place, Sept. 29, 1:30 a.m. The victim reported she woke up to find a stranger in her room. He fled and she was not injured. Forced entry was made through the front door. Officers searched the area and found Abdul Kamara, 21, of Alexandria. He was identified as the suspect and charged with drunk in public. Investigation continues.
