Police: Jewelry Stolen From Home on Jefferson Drive

The following items are from recent police updates through Jan. 30 from the Mount Vernon Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Burglary (red on map), 6:30 p.m., Jan. 30, 2700 block of Jefferson Drive, A resident reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Entry was made through an unlocked rear window.

  • Arlington Terrace/Mount Vernon Drive, change, cigarettes and visitor pass from vehicle
  • 1300 block of Collingwood Road, money and some checks from church
  • 4500 block of Colony Court, money from residence

  • 6700 block of Richmond Highway, bottle of wine from business
  • 6700 block of Richmond Highway, twenty frames from business
  • 7300 block of Richmond Highway, purse from business
  • 7800 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business
  • 7900 block of Richmond Highway, boots from business
  • 8200 block of Richmond Highway, cough and cold syrups from business
  • 9100 block of Richmond Highway, scarf from business
  • 2500 block of Sherwood Hall Lane, wallet from library
  • 8600 block of Sherwood Hall Lane, purse from business
  • 6900 block of South Kings Highway, beer from business
  • 6600 block of Wakefield Drive, license plate from vehicle
  • 8600 block of Walutes Circle, check from residence

No vehicle thefts were reported at the time.
