Police Report Burglaries in Mount Vernon District

The following information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

 

Fairfax County police have reported that two homes on Patton Boulevard were burglarized the night of July 17.

The burglaries occurred in the 9000 block of the road, which is located off Mount Vernon Memorial Highway. In the first incident, a resident reported that someone entered the home and stole jewelry. Police could not determine how the burglar entered the home.

In the second burglary, the resident has requested a check of the home, and police found someone had entered through a rear window. Jewelry was stolen.

In separate and unrelated incidents:

  • A robbery was reported July 18 in the 8200 block of Russell Road. The victim reported that another man approached him. They spoke briefly, and a fight ensued. The other man then robbed the victim, who was not injured, of some personal property and his bicycle.
  • Cell phones were stolen from a residence in the 7900 block of Audubon Avenue.
  • Laptop computers were stolen from a residence in the 3600 block of Buckman Road.
  • A license plate was stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Huntington Avenue.
  • Tools were stolen from a business in the 1800 block of Old Richmond Highway.
  • Jewelry and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence in the 6100 block of Paulonia Road.
  • Jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 4400 block of Pembrook Village.
  • A laptop computer was stolen from a residence in the 7500 block of Republic Court.
  • Tools were stolen from a vehicle in the 7500 block of Republic Court.
  • DVDs were stolen from a business in the 6300 block of Richmond Highway.
  • A wallet was stolen from a business in the 6800 block of Richmond Highway.
  • Tools were stolen from a vehicle in the 7700 block of Richmond Highway.
  • A tag was stolen from a vehicle in the 8400 block of Richmond Highway.
  • A cell phone was stolen from a business in the 2500 block of Sherwood Hall Lane.
  • A Cadillac was stolen from the 3400 block of Memorial Street.
  • A 2000 Chrysler Town & Country was stolen from the 6000 block of Richmond Highway.
