The renovated McDonald's at 8735 Richmond Highway opened for business Thursday.
The fast-food restaurant has been closed since June. The old restaurant was demolished and a new one was constructed in its place.
The Mount Vernon location is among 2,400 McDonald's restaurants that are getting a new look this year, UPI reports. The redesign includes Wi-Fi and larger tables for families, and a brand new drive-thru menu.

We went Friday night....the line was ridiculous, the orders were all mixed up...they ran out of apple pies. The restaurant itself seems smaller....but maybe that was because the wait to order was long or the wait to receive our order was long. Very modern decor... Despite our bad experience, we will return!!!
