G-Mart International Foods will be opening in the storefront previously occupied by the Bottom Dollar Foods in the Woodlawn Shopping Center.

Police: Alexandria Man Charged with Assault After Altercation with Housemate

Fairfax County police officers responded for a dispute between housemates which allegedly became physical on Wednesday night. Alex Koiwood, 27, of Alexandria, was charged with two counts of assault on a police officer and one count of obstruction of justice.

Belle View Safeway Celebrates Grand Re-Opening

Invited guests received a sneak preview Thursday night of the renovated Belle View grocery store at the Safeway Spring Social event. 

The gathering celebrated the grand re-opening of the store, which was closed for the past six months for renovations.
