Hundreds of residents are without power along the Route 1 corridor this morning -- a dangerous situation considering today's high temperature could reach 99.
Dominion Virginia Power says about 450,000 were without power in Northern Virginia as of 7:30 a.m. and restoring power to all customers could take days.
