Arcadia Farm Fall Fest Oct. 6

Spend the the day at Arcadia Farm celebrating all things farm, fall, fest, family, food, and fun on the grounds of Woodlawn Mansion in Alexandria, VA., on Oct. 6 from 12 - 4.

Pack a picnic blanket and join us for a Sunday afternoon.

The day will feature old-fashioned autumn fun, including a Cakewalk, Apple Bobbing, Pumpkin Carving, Mobile Market Tours, an Egg and Spoon Family Relay, Cooking Demonstrations, and Farm Chores (we snuck that in?). You don’t have to hoe – but if you want to, you can!

This is a great time to experience our educational farm stations, meet our staff, learn about compost, commune with the Ladies (our laying hens), participate in a cooking demonstration, and tour Woodlawn Mansion and the Pope-Leighy House. Snacks and hot apple cider will be available, and you're welcome to pack a picnic! 

Admission is free, but we ask that you RSVP so we can plan properly. 

We'll also have a pumpkin "patch." Reserve a small pumpkin with a $5 deposit, and a larger pumpkin suitable for carving with a deposit of $10. Your deposit will be applied to the pumpkin's final price. 

A limited number of pumpkins will be available for sale the day of the event. Please pre-order to guarantee we'll have your pumpkin needs covered!
