Creedon Hall Open for Christmas Day Mass

The newly renovated hall at Good Shepherd Catholic Church will host its first major event on Christmas Eve.

Good Shepherd Catholic Church is ready for Christmas Eve and Christmas
Day Masses. After months of extensive renovations throughout the facility,
Creedon Hall will open and welcome parishioners and visitors.

This year's Christmas Eve Mass is the first major event since Creedon
Hall closed for renovations in September. The renovations included an
upgraded sound and lighting system, a kitchen extension, and partitions
that divide the space into three smaller spaces. The space can now be used
for a variety of programs.

"Creedon Hall will suit all parish needs and ministries," Pastoral Associate
Claudia Fiebig told Patch.

There will be a 4 p.m. Mass in the church and in Creedon Hall. The
Children’s Choir will be in the church and will sing carols before Mass
begins. Creedon Hall will feature a cantor and small choir.

Mount Vernon High School will serve as an overflow parking lot for the
4 p.m. Masses, and a shuttle bus will bring guests from MVHS to Good
Shepherd Catholic Church beginning at 3 p.m. and ending at 5:45 p.m.

Additional Masses will be held in the church at 6 p.m., 8 p.m., and 10 p.m. A
midnight Mass will be conducted in Spanish. Christmas Day Masses will be
held at 9:00 and 10:30am in English and at 2:00pm in Spanish.

All are welcome to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Good
Shepherd Catholic Church.

"I hope you have a Merry Christmas filled with the love and hope that Jesus
brings to our world in celebrating His birth," Father Thomas Ferguson said.
May the New Year bring joy and peace to our families, community and
world."
