Last Chance: Register for the International Festival 5K Run

There’s still time to sign up for the inaugural at on Saturday.

Runners can sign up in person at the church on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 to 8:15 a.m.

The race kicks off Saturday at 8:30 a.m at the church, and a 1K fun walk will be held at 8 a.m. The course will wind through the neighborhoods near Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Shepherd’s Gate grant program benefitting local and national charities.

The International Festival 5K race is the kick-off event for International Festival weekend. A Mass will be held Sunday at noon, and the International Festival will be held on Labor Day from noon to 6 p.m.
