Metro will extend its regular rail system operations by two hours—until 2 a.m.—on New Year’s Eve and into New Year’s Day to accommodate travel around the region.

Last train times will vary by station. You can check last train times for any station on Metro’s website.

Metrorail and Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 1, with the Metrorail system open from 7 a.m. to midnight.

Trips on MetroAccess, a shared-ride, door-to-door service for people whose disability prevents them from using bus or rail, are canceled on Jan. 1.
