Last Chance: Tickets Still Available for Farm to Table Event

Historic Mount Vernon will host its first farm to table dinner on Saturday evening.

Tickets are still available for Historic Mount Vernon’s Farm to Table event and dinner on Saturday night.

The event will showcase fresh food grown at Mount Vernon and its historical purposes. Guests will learn how food was grown, stored, and prepared for the Washington family during an exclusive tour of the historic area. Following the tour, guests will enjoy a four-course dinner, including dishes such as red and gold beet salad with goat cheese and fried okra croutons tossed in a citrus vinaigrette and grilled black mission figs with gorgonzola cheese and honey.

Tickets are $175 per person and include tax and gratuity. Limited quantities are available. The event will take place Saturday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online at MountVernon.org or at the Ford Orientation Center located at the estate.
