The Mount Zephyr Neighborhood Watch continues a Halloween tradition.

For the last few years, young ghosts and goblins have celebrated Halloween in style in the Mount Zephyr neighborhood.

Sponsored by the Mount Zephyr Neighborhood Watch, Halloweenies 2011 was a fun-filled Halloween party for kids and their families held at Wesley United Methodist Church. According to Louis Burris of the Mount Zephyr Neighborhood Watch, the main purpose of Halloweenies is to bring the neighborhood together.

"We started several years ago for the community to bond together," said Burris. "It’s just taken off from there."
