Today is Feel the Love Day

Before you show your family some love, check out these five things to know today in Mount Vernon.

1. Rocknoceros will be performing at Sherwood Regional Library on Saturday. Registration is free and available online.
2. United Community Ministries will be accepting food donations from the community on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Hybla Valley area.
3. Mount Vernon at Home is hosting a lecture on the importance of estate planning on September 20 at Sherwood Regional Library.
4. The deadline for nominating your favorite business on Richmond Highway for the Mary Thonen Beautification Award is September 30.
5. Today is National Feel the Love Day.
