Woodlawn Baptist Church Presents 'Christianity Explored'

The informal course is open to all.

Christianity Explored is an informal 7-week course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. Looking at Mark's gospel, it explores who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him.

Rico Tice, along with Barry Cooper and Sam Shammas, originally developed Christianity Explored (CE) in the late 1990s, under the tutelage of John Stott and Richard Bewes at All Souls Church, Langham Place in Central London. The course was developed over a ten year period and has been updated and revised to reflect lessons learned during these years.  From the beginning, the aim of the course was to 'let the gospel tell the gospel.'

The course will be presented during the Sunday evening worship gathering in the Woodlawn Baptist Church sanctuary at 6 pm beginning February 10. No one will be called upon to speak, pray or read anything.  Questions are welcome as there will be a time for informal discussion. There is an engaging video that accompanies the course along with a handbook. The course is free along with the materials.  Those who are interested are welcome to join us at any time during the course.

For more information, call 703-780-3440 or visit www.wlsbc.org.
