Northern Virginia Jewish Film Festival Shabbat Expression - "Igor and the Cranes' Journey"

Our Shabbat Expression program connects Jewish families to the JCCNV.
Join us on a journey of wonder and learning as we watch "Igor and the
Cranes' Journey." This film, best suited of ages 10 and up, tells the
story of young boy on his journey of Aliyah (migration to Israel). After
the film stay for a short discussion and community Havdalah. For
children 9 and under, you will find your own way to express yourself on
shabbat through song and crafts. All children must be accompanied by an
adult at all times! Please register in advance.

"Igor and the
Cranes' Journey" is a charming fable about migration and the meaning of
home. With exquisite cinematography and sensitive script, this is a
perfect film for dreamers ages 10 and up.

The
14th annual Northern Virginia Jewish Film Festival, a program of the
Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, runs March 20-30. Most
films will be shown at Angelika Film Center & Café at Mosaic.

Igor
and the Cranes' Journey will also screen at Angelika Film Center &
Cafe at Mosaic on Wednesday, March 26, 12:30pm (school groups welcome;
study guide available)and Sunday, March 30, 2:45pm.
