Police Seek Info on Capital One Bank Robbery on Richmond Highway

The bank is on 6790 Richmond Highway.

Authorities are seeking information about a man who robbed a bank in the Beacon Hill area last week.

The incident took place at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, when a man entered the Capital One bank on 6790 Richmond Highway, displayed a gun, and demanded cash.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured. The robber was 180 pounds, in his 20s, and less than 6 feet tall, according to authorities.

The FBI and the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department are investigating this bank robbery and request that anyone with information call the FBI at 202-278-2000 or the Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
