Crime Report: Convenience Store Robbery in the Huntington Area

Robbery

A man robbed a convenience store in the Huntington area early Friday, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

At 1:42 a.m., a man entered a convenience store on the 5800 block of North Kings Highway and displayed a knife to an employee. The man took cash and fled. He was in his 20s and about 5 feet 9, according to police.

Larcenies reported on Thursday:

8500 block of Old Mount Vernon Road in Mount Vernon: a cell phone was reported stolen from a school

6300 block of Richmond Highway in Mount Vernon: merchandise was reported stolen from a business

7600 block of Richmond Highway in Mount Vernon: a wallet was reported stolen from a business
