Firefighters Distribute Toys, Coats to Children at Penn Daw Station
Thousands of needy children will benefit from the drive.
Fairfax County firefighters and paramedics gave out toys and coats to area children on Tuesday.
The 16th Annual Firefighters Holiday Rescuer’s Toy Distribution event took place at the Penn Daw Fire and Rescue Station 11 in the Huntington area. Thousands of needy children will receive the toys, the fire department reports.
Collecting the items was a group effort between fire department members, Progressive Firefighters of Fairfax County, Inc., and International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Local 2068, among other community organizations.
