PHOTO GALLERY: Dominion Repairs Poles After Crash Knocks Out Power in Mount Vernon

A Patch reader sent in these photos of the repair work being done Sunday after a 2 a.m. car crash left more than 1,000 Mount Vernon homes in the dark.

Dominion Power crews were out Sunday repairing damage .

The crash occurred at about 2 a.m. Sunday; most had power back on between 12:30-1 p.m. Sunday.
