Police: Attempted Robbery in Mount Vernon

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Attempted Robbery:

Police are seeking two suspects in an attempted robbery that took place on August 13. The male suspects attempted to rob a 41-year-old man near Janna Lee Avenue and Buckman Road. The suspects are described as black, near 19-years-old, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 175 pounds, with afro style hair. The suspects were seen in a black Honda sedan with Virginia plates. The victim declined medical attention.

8300 block of Richmond Highway - bicycle stolen from residence

8600 block of Richmond Highway - liquor stolen from business 

8500 block of Rosemont Circle - cell phone stolen from vehicle

3500 block of Stephies Court - GPS stolen from vehicle

5700 block of Village Green Drive - bicycle stolen from residence

8800 block of Richmond Highway - Ford truck
