Incidents reported to the Mount Vernon district substation of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Last week, Fairfax County police officers from the Mount Vernon district substation responded to 15 reported incidents in our community. Additionally, there were fifteen reported noise violations which are not listed. There were six reported larcenies and three reported assaults.

Here's the detailed timeline of last week's police activity. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur:

  • February 2: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8400 block of Madge Lane. (10:20 a.m.)
  • February 2: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 8000 block of Imperial Street. (3:30 p.m.)
  • February 2: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of destruction in the 4100 block of Dandridge Terrace. (3:42 p.m.)
  • February 2: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported sex offense in the 8500 block of Hyman Way. (7:10 p.m.)
  • February 4: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8400 block of Frye Road. (12:07 p.m.)
  • February 4: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported burglary in the 8400 block of Blankenship Street. (4:14 p.m.)
  • February 5: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 8400 block of Diablo Court. (5:23 a.m.)
  • February 5: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported vehicle tampering in the 4300 block of Birchlake Court. (5:16 a.m.)
  • February 6: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 4200 block of Buckman Road. (6:28 p.m.)
  • February 6: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8100 block of Ashboro Drive. (9:12 p.m.)
  • February 7: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 4400 block of Groombridge Way. (1:14 a.m.)
  • February 7: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 4300 block of Agnew Avenue. (5:29 a.m.)
  • February 7: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 4300 block of Agnew Avenue. (7:44 a.m.)
  • February 8: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of destruction in the 4300 block of Amblewood Road. (6:45 p.m.)
  • February 8: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the intersection of Frye Road and Richmond Highway. (3:44 p.m.)
