Police Blotter: March 25, 2011

Incidents reported to the Mount Vernon Police District substation of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Last week, Fairfax County police officers from the Mount Vernon district substation responded to 22 reported incidents in our community. This week, there were eight reported larcenies in our area and six reported assaults.

Here's the detailed timeline of last week's police activity. Keep in mind that these are reported incidents. A crime did not necessarily occur:

  • March 17: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 8000 block of Hammond Street. (12:16 a.m.)
  • March 17: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8600 block of Richmond Highway. (11:07 a.m.)
  • March 17: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported drug offense at Lukens Lane and Walutes Circle. (3:43 p.m.)
  • March 18: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8500 block of Old Mount Vernon Road. (8:05 a.m.)
  • March 18: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8400 block of Richmond Highway. (2:42 p.m.)
  • March 18: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 8700 block of Sacramento Drive. (8:06 p.m.)
  • March 18: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 8500 block of Carlos Court. (9:50 p.m.)
  • March 19: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported robbery in the 8200 block of Russell Road. (6:25 a.m.)
  • March 19: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 4500 block of Squiredale Square. (8:42 a.m.)
  • March 19: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny at Central Park Circle and Central Park Drive. (9:39 a.m.)
  • March 19: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8600 block of Village Square. (12:01 p.m.)
  • March 19: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 8500 block of Hyman Way. (11:35 a.m.)
  • March 20: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported drug offense in the 8800 block of Richmond Highway. (2:48 a.m.)
  • March 20: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 4200 block of Pickering Place. (6:45 p.m.)
  • March 20: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at Venoy Court and Sacramento Drive. (8:46 p.m.)
  • March 21: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of destruction in the 8300 block of Richmond Highway. (10:00 a.m.)
  • March 21: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 8800 block of Pear Tree Village Court. (10:51 a.m.)
  • March 21: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of destruction in the 8500 block of Richmond Highway. (1:49 p.m.)
  • March 21: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of destruction in the 4500 block of Colony Court. (4:24 p.m.)
  • March 22: Mount Vernon police responded to a report of destruction in the 8700 block of Sacramento Drive. (7:01 a.m.)
  • March 22: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported drug offense at Lukens Lane and Walutes Circle. (3:39 p.m.)
  • March 22: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 8200 block of Russell Road. (4:34 p.m.)
  • March 23: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported sex offense in the 9400 block of Ferry Landing Court. (2:04 a.m.)
  • March 23: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 8500 block of Old Mount Vernon Road. (1:04 p.m.)
  • March 23: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported larceny in the 8200 block of Richmond Highway. (3:56 p.m.)
  • March 23: Mount Vernon police responded to a reported assault in the 8500 block of Richmond Highway. (4:39 p.m.)
