Police Blotter: May 10, 2011

Incidents reported to the Mount Vernon district substation of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Each week, the Fairfax County Police Department releases an update with incidents that have occurred across the county. The following incidents occurred last week in the Mount Vernon Police District:

Major incidents

A home in the 3000 block of Franklin Street was burglarized on May 2. A laptop computer was stolen.

Larcenies

A video game system was stolen from a residence in the 7900 block of Janna Lee Avenue.

Liquor was stolen from a business in the 8600 block of Richmond Highway. 

A bicycle was stolen from a residence in the 2600 block of Stirrup Lane. 

Vehicle Thefts

No vehicle thefts were reported this week.
