Police Blotter: May 25, 2011

Incidents reported to the Mount Vernon district substation of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Each week, the Fairfax County Police Department releases an update with incidents that have occurred across the county. The following incidents occurred last week in the Mount Vernon Police District:

Major Incidents

A 48-year-old man was robbed by two males and a female in the 8400 block of Fuerte Court on May 17. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Larcenies

A cell phone was stolen from a business in the 8100 block of Richmond Highway.

A cell phone was stolen from a business in the 8300 block of Richmond Highway. 

Liquor was stolen from a business in the 8600 block of Richmond Highway. 

A cell phone was stolen from a business in the 8600 block of Sacramento Drive.

GPS and jewelry were stolen from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Woodley Drive.

Vehicle Thefts:

No vehicle thefts were reported in Mount Vernon last week.
