Police: Carjacking Suspect Arrested in Mount Vernon District

Police recently arrested Nacole Diggs-McBride for carjacking a 58-year-old man.

Police recently arrested and charged Nacole Diggs-McBride for allegedly carjacking a 58-year-old man on South Kings Highway Tuesday morning, according to an FCPD news release.

Police responded to the 6300 block of South Kings Highway around 4:30 a.m. for the report of a carjacking. When they arrived, officers determined that a 58-year old man had parked his 1992, four-door Honda Civic bearing Virginia registration XRJ8539 and stepped out of the car to wait for a passenger.

As the victim returned to his car, Diggs-McBride allegedly approached him, implied that she had a gun and drove off with the victim’s car. According to the news release, there was possibly a black male in the front passenger seat of the Honda which was last seen headed south on South Kings Highway. The victim was not injured during the incident.

There was no further description of the man who got into the passenger seat of the Honda.
