Two Robbed at Gunpoint in Mount Vernon

Two people were walking in the Mount Vernon area when they were robbed at gunpoint, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The incident took place at 8 p.m. Saturday on the 7900 block of Audubon Ave. A man approached the two walkers, displayed a gun, and took cash and properties from the victims, police report.

No injuries were reported. The man was in his 20s, wore dreadlocks, and was about 5-feet-9 inches tall and wore and orange sweatshirt, police report.
