This is a great use of our Fairfax County property taxes. It keeps vast amounts of material out of the landfills and out of the incinerators. We just recycled a very old TV that no one on Freecycle.org was interested in taking (another good alternative to the landfill for usable items). The lines move fast and the system is well organized. It was also encouraging to see so many citizens making a good decision for the environment.
