Considering the events of recent weeks, Christmas seems especially poignant this year. From the shadows of grief and sorrow, we receive the light that shines in the darkness. And though it seems as fragile as a candle's flickering flame sometimes, we attest and boldly proclaim that the darkness has not overcome it. The birth of Christ is not only an historical event that we remember. It is God's radical act of claiming the future. Our future. Emmanuel, through what is, what was, and what is yet to come...God With Us.
May you and all your loved ones walk confidently in the Light of Christ.
Peace,
