Bishop Ireton Student Will Play Football for Naval Academy

Bishop Ireton’s Grayson (Hudson) Sullivan ’14, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for the Naval Academy next year.

Hudson played linebacker for the Ireton Cardinals. While sidelined at the end of his senior season due to a leg injury, Hudson still generated a lot of buzz and was offered several college scholarships.

In the end, serving his country and playing for the Midshipmen was what he wanted to do. Bill Simmons, Bishop Ireton’s Athletic Director, said: “We are extremely proud of Hudson. Not only was he the heart and soul of our team last fall, he is an all-around great young man; academically, athletically, and character-wise. The Naval Academy demands a special type of student-athlete; Hudson is up to the challenge."
