Judges Needed for Mount Vernon High School Science Fair

New and experienced judges welcome.

Mount Vernon High School is seeking volunteer judges for its annual science fair.Β  The science fair will take place after school on Feb. 5 in the Mount Vernon High School library and cafeteria.

Judges will have the opportunity to judge projects from IB science students from a wide range of subjects including biology, chemistry, physics and environmental science.

Judges will be paired with a partner to listen to student presentations about their projects and evaluate their work using a simple rubric. From there, the judges will convene to pick 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mention winners. The time commitment for judging is from 2:30 p.m. to approximately 4 p.m.
