The C-SPAN Bus will make a stop at Mount Vernon High School.

Mount Vernon High School students will have the opportunity to participate on C-SPAN's Washington Journal call-in program via Skype on Monday morning when the C-SPAN Bus makes a stop at MVHS.

Students will learn about C-SPAN’s programs and resources by touring the C-SPAN Bus during a stop on its tour to promote a new original series called First Ladies: Influence and Image, airing on Monday nights at 9 p.m.

From Martha Washington to Michelle Obama, C-SPAN will present a closer book at the lives and legacies of each of the first ladies. The C-SPAN Bus marks its 20th year on the road by stopping at key historic places in the first ladies' lives, promoting C-SPAN’s educational and political resources for students, teachers and community members along the way, according to a press release.
