Mount Vernon High School to Host Forum for 'Stressed Out Teens'

Educational consultant Ann Dolin will share her time-management tips.

Mount Vernon High School will host a presentation Feb. 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to help students and parents find balance in a hectic schedule jam-packed with academics and extracurriculars.

"Stressed Out Teens: Managing the Demands of High School," will feature Ann Dolin, a former teacher, author and educational consultant. Sponsored by the PTSAs of Mount Vernon, Hayfield and West Potomac high schools, the presentation will discuss how to manage a demanding schedule and find a balance between academics, sports, and extracurriculars, foster time management skills, and develop effective study skills.

The discussion will take place at the Little Theatre at MVHS Feb. 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. For more information, email dana.melvin@cox.net.
