Mount Vernon High School to Host Mattress Sale Fundraiser
First annual mattress sale fundraiser will benefit student activities.
Mount Vernon High School will be hosting a mattress sale fundraiser in February.
According to MVHS Athletic Boosters President Mike Gailiot, proceeds from the fundraiser will be spit between the Turf Field Fund to build the synthetic turf field in the Jeffery M. Todd Memorial Stadium and the practice field.
“The balance will help cover the expenses in the Student Activities Office which is responsible for equipment, uniforms, field maintenance and other miscellaneous expenses in the operation of the Student Activities office,” Gailiot told Patch in an email.

Mattresses of all sizes will be sold and savings up to 50% off retail. Prices will range from $199.00 to $1999.00.
The mattress sale will be held at Mount Vernon High School on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
