POLL: Should There Be Surveillance Cameras in High Schools?

The MVHS PTSA supports the use of interior surveillance cameras.

Since the it has been amended to allow each high school to decide whether cameras will be installed inside the school walls. Schools will not be required to install cameras inside their walls. Elementary and middle schools are exempt from the proposal.

Mount Vernon High School's PTSA is in "full support" of cameras inside the school, said PTSA President Jeanette Kraynak.
