West Potomac High Students Selected for 2013 Virginia Honors Choir

The singers will perform at a convention later this month.

Two West Potomac High Schoool students were named vocal musicians for the 2013 Virginia Honors Choir.

The following students were chosen:

  • Anjum Choudhury and William Havrenek 
A total of 35 students from Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) were selected for the choir, which is open to the top 125 singers from around the Commonwealth of Virginia, according to a news release from FCPS. Five students were named alternates.  

The students will perform at the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) convention on Nov. 23 at the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va.
