MVHS will be hosting the 37th annual holiday basketball tournament here at Mount Vernon High School on December 27, 28, and 29. All games will be played in the Michael M. Skinner Field House with game times for all three days to begin at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm.
Competitive teams will be fielded on the court from the likes of schools from Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia and Florida. Schools that will be competing are:
Mount Vernon HS, Oakton HS, Stonewall Jackson HS, Ballou HS, Clinton Christian School, Largo HS, Dunbar HS, and Florida Air Academy.

The tournament is sponsored by the Mount Vernon Athletic Boosters Club, run by Michael Gailliot. Admission is $5 and $3 for all students wearing their school colors. Come on out and enjoy some competitve basketball games and support your school.
