Mount Vernon High School lost s cupcake poll.
The local store allowed voting all week with the purchase of a cupcake. The results were West Potomac with 286 votes and Mount Vernon with 219 votes. The entire West Potomac Dance Team showed up Wednesday afternoon to vote, putting West Potomac in the lead.
The West Potomac vs. Mount Vernon football game is tonight at 7 p.m. at West Potomac High School.
