Keep your umbrella handy — the National Weather Service says Northern Virginia has a 70 percent chance of seeing rain on Saturday.
If the area sees any rain or thunderstorms, it will likely be after 2 p.m. on Saturday, the weather service notes. There is a 60 percent chance of storms Saturday night.
The mugginess that has lingered all week will clear out after an expected cold front sweeps through Saturday night, according to ABC7 Weather forecasters Doug Hill and Bob Ryan.
