New Hope Housing: News, Notes, and Needs Update
The Rock and Stroll to End Homelessness will be held on Sept. 29.
Join New Hope Housing for the second annual “Rock & Stroll to End Homelessness” on Sept. 29 at Cameron Run Park. There will be live music, lunch, Zumba, competitive games, a short Help the Homeless walk, and lots of activities for the whole family.
The Rock & Stroll is sponsored by five Alexandria homeless service providers. You can register to support New Hope Housing by clicking here. This is a great team activity for you and your co-workers, your faith community, your family, or your neighbors. All registrants help New Hope Housing reach the goal of 4,000 participants in Help the Homeless events, which earns a $50,000 incentive grant for New Hope Housing’s work with homeless families and individuals in our community.
If you can’t attend or live out of town, please consider helping by registering as a “virtual” walker, or by donating to support our school walkers (click here for more information).

GIFT CARDS FOR SCHOOL CLOTHES New Hope Housing has many students in our programs returning to school in a few weeks. A gift card to Walmart or Target would be a big help in getting some essential clothing items.
