Sing for Facets. Six Degree Singer’s, a young professional voice choir, will perform a benefit concert at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax. Proceeds will go toward FACETS, a Fairfax County organization that works to provide services for the poor in Fairfax County. Tickets are $15 at the door. Free Family Movie Night. Bring the family to see the animated 2012 film 'The Lorax,' based on the popular Dr. Seuss book. It's all part of Herndon Environmental Network's environmental movie series. Fun activities and discussions for all ages will follow the movie, including a brief talk by HEN's Habitat Heroes, about invasive and native plants.
