The Gum Springs Youth Athletic Association is a non-profit, volunteer-run sports organization based in the Gum Springs Community Center on Fordson Road. Striving to provide a positive environment of mentorship in which children learn leadership, responsibility, respect and sportsmanship, the GSYAA offers affordable enrollment in tackle or flag football, basketball and cheerleading. While it serves the Gum Springs area, it is a member of the wider Fairfax County Youth Football League. Scholarship opportunities are available.
